This is simply out my car window with my point and shoot the other day...I will post some landscapes and people in their environments that I have shot over the years while you all are doing "Landscapes & Environmental Portraits" in class...
Great job everyone 1st MP! This 2nd MP is starting off with the b&w assignment of "Love & Aperture" and shooting still lifes with digital cameras ( and some film!) in class. You MUST bring in at least 1 prop/object that is something meaningful/symbolic to you personally and 1 FRUIT or VEGETABLE - the more stuff, the merrier! ex: a bag of lemons.
Here are a few David Hockney images...I had asked Level 2 students to research his work(and/or other cubist painters...Picasso!...Braque! and other photographers) and either document some of their work / inspiration for your own work on the blog here...and/or your sketchbooks.
Here is also a collage that Toree Schwartz was experimenting with a few years ago that I thought was interesting - it is from the extra leftover prints we had here form the class pics....
Here is an un-edited image I am working on for March show with Jeff Reeder at KatiMac floral designs in West Chester...I cannot wait to have time to get editing and be immersed in my art- photographs - still lifes - collages.....
Good-bye summer - hello fall! I am really excited to get blogging again with my fellow photographers and CPFA students. Here is a photo of my daughter, saying good-bye to the ocean and sand...
