Sasha

I photographed my other daughter, Isobel in the leaves sort of like this in the same peach onesie (sp?) 6 years ago in our backyard. This year it rained so much and the leaves did not have as much color. I also waited too long, and it was 33 degrees when I took Sasha outside - WAY too cold for a baby, but I am glad I did it because it snowed the next day and the leaves were all gone afterwards... It was shot in the middle of the day, which is my least favorite lighting conditions, for shadows are harsh and it is hard to get good skin tones. Overall, I am happy with this shot mostly because it shows her in this basket, which was given to me by CPFA teachers as a baby shower gift. Sasha slept in this basket a lot when she as 1st born, and it was cute to carry her around in it. I also like this pic because overall, it has a nice feeling of "color". I have a bunch of orange-y pics lately ...I'll post some more soon.
