In October we had a few sunny warm days and my family and I headed off to Cape May. This shot was taken in The Villas at the bay. This is a very special place for me, fo it is where I let my father's ashes go into the sea after he died two years ago. I chose this place, for this is where he lived most of the last happier days of his life with his girlfriend June, before he was diagnosed with cancer. June still lives here and invites us to visit her often, which means a great deal to me and my family.
My daughter Isobel is always running and jumping, and is very proud of her skills. I wanted to capture her in mid-air to "show off" to her how high she could jump! So, I purposely manually set my camera to a high shutter of s1000 (from s125). In order for the exposure to work, I changed my ISO to 100 (from 400 ISO) and my aperture to f8 (from f22).
PFA STUDENTS!?....Why do you think I would have to change those 2 other controls?
Write me back a comment of your answer anyone!
